The Burlington Community Boathouse

Nestled on the shores of Lake Champlain is the Burlington Community Boathouse. The Boathouse and neighboring Waterfront Park are the center attractions of the Burlington waterfront.

The Boathouse offers a scenic gateway to the beautiful Lake Champlain. With King Street Dock located next door this section of the waterfront is the key access point for all of your summer activities such as swimming, boating or fishing.

It is also a great place to enjoy other recreational activities such as running, biking, and in-line skating. With the Burlington Waterfront's eight-mile recreation path right there it is hard not to find something to at or near the beautiful Burlington Boathouse.

History of the Boathouse

The Burlington Boathouse is a 30ft. by 100ft. barge. Construction of the Boathouse was completed in 1988 and since its completion it has become the focal point of water activities in the Burlington area.

The Boathouse has an on premises caterer, snackbar, function room which houses events such as wedding receptions and meetings, as well as charter and boat rentals. The Boathouse also offers transient docking as well as a 75 slip marina.


Waterfront Park

The Burlington Boathouse is located at Waterfront Park. Waterfront Park is the centerpiece of Burlington's shoreline.

Waterfront Park is surrounded by 13 restaurants, the Burlington Bike Path, shopping, charter fishing, the Vermont Rail Excursions scenic train ride, ferry to New York as well as many other things. It is never hard to find something to do or a place to eat when you are at Waterfront Park.
